The NewsForge review of Drupal 4.7 gives you an idea of some of what the latest version of Drupal can do. I don’t agree that an upgrade from 4.6 isn’t worth the effort but do warn that it can be error prone. I still prefer Drupal over Joomla but there are pros and cons with both products.
